A Night for Heroes: Wish Night 2013

The theme for Wish Night this year couldn't be more perfect--
Love my Super Nats!!!

One of my most favorite memories of Natalie.  She told this story all the time.

I just love how cute Natalie is in this video made that night!

The ballroom was beautiful as always!!

After checking in to the hotel we got a little swim time in before we had to head over to rehearse.
So fun!  Brian only liked the hot tub, but was nervous enough about everything that he clung to me.

Stephen getting his boots shined!!
 I love this!!

After weeks of Saturday rehearsals it was time for the final rehearsal and time to get familiar with the stage.  Stephen is such a hoot--he has SO much personality and is so fun to watch.  Neither of my kids seems to have any problem with stage fright, so it is fun to watch them do their thing!

Dancing with a boy!
They all pretended to hate it, but you could tell they all loved it!

Stephen was always SO serious in this song--
I love that he felt the music and felt like that's how it should be done.
It isn't at all the way he did the other songs!

Main opening song!

The last performance ends up in the famous Wish Night conga line--almost everyone in the ballroom congas and it is a sight to see.  I had Brian conga with me and it was so precious.  It was to the beat of the "ceiling can't hold us!" Perfect!!

Brothers!

Love to see all the kids wish art being sold.  It makes them soooo proud to see their work displayed and to know that they are helping raise money for Make A Wish!!

We always seem to take a picture here every year.

In years past, Natalie is the one always passed out asleep by 11 pm and Stephen is still going strong--
this year it has changed.  He was tired WAY sooner than Natalie.  I guess that's what becoming a kindergartner does!

Kissing Sissy goodnight!
Perfect end to a perfect night!
