Polar Express

This is the view from our hotel when we woke up our second morning in Colorado; it had been snowing all night.  Beautiful and tranquil.

We had an hour drive to get to the Polar Express train ride we were doing that day on a mountain road.  I was glad David learned to drive in the snow since the roads weren't great.  Luckily we had time to go slow and enjoy the beautiful views as we drove.

 So pretty!!!

 Letters to Santa.

Two missing front teeth- I took this when they played the song "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth."  She just lost the second one at school just before the Christmas break.  The funny thing is that there was such a big gap that the tooth that was growing in was coming in crooked and taking a long time to knock the other tooth out since they didn't overlap much.  She is too cute!

 Beautiful views!!
The snow that was still coming down and blanketing everything made it even more magical!!

 We even saw deer...

 The scenery was so impressive.

Cookies, hot chocolate, Christmas songs, elves, stories, games, and picking up Santa from the North Pole--what could be better??  The kids thought this was Santa's second home...

 Santa's village...
 Santa!!!

 Half way frozen...so cool!!

Love you Santa!!!
