My beautiful, confident girl!! Not phased by her headgear! She got used to the palettal expander pretty quickly too. At first she couldn't eat because her teeth didn't touch so after a couple of days of buying her milkshakes we took her back and they shaved a couple teeth down and she could eat again!! It made talking hard at first- but if you know Natalie- you know that didn't stop her!! And I am SOOO proud of her for doing so well having the molds made (not fun) and having all that work done in her mouth. She also had to have a rnadom tooth fixed because it fractured. All this for a little girl with oral aversions who is sensitive because of all the feeding tubes she's had put in. Yes, I am one proud Mama! We are hoping this and the braces that follow will fix her underbite; which is one of the hardest things to fix.
