Sailing in Corpus

This picture really grabbed me and pulled at my heart strings when I saw it.  Right away the significance of it captured me.  The shirt is from the Curesearch cancer walk we do every year.  When it says, "These Are The Reasons We Walk," it lists kids names who have had cancer and some who have been lost to cancer.  The motto of cureseach is to "reach the day when every child is cured."
The reason we walk--so every child diagnosed with cancer can go on to live life to its fullest and enjoy many beautiful days in the sun with those they love--just like my beautiful baby girl!! How truly blessed we are and what an amazing day we had in the sun: exploring, living, and relishing our time together.

Natalie and Stephen got to help steer the boat!!

Enjoying the beautiful breeze and sunshine!

To say Brian was NOT a fan of his life jacket would be a huge understatement!!!!

Fun!

The cutest and most handsome sailor I know!

This is how Brian decided to handle the life jacket when he figured out we weren't going to take it off him and resigned himself to it after being quite unhappy about it!  Love his expression and his floppy body!

Don't let Natalie's smile fool you--it was COLD; especially for our little skinny!!!

Just like his Mamma! He filled David's pockets full of shells to bring home.
The shell searching was SERIOUS business!

First time in the ocean, on the beach, or in any sand for that matter!
Looks like he likes it!

Funny- he sat there with his legs crossed like this for quite some time, just grabbing and discovering everything he could.  Of course discovering means trying to put it in his mouth--eeeewwww!

So sweet! Love the expression!

Precious!!

Beach Bums!

Exploring!

Love this!!  Captures how perfect it was!

Close-up of the cuteness!!

The only down side to the sailing experience was the burn Brian got because of rubbing his sunscreen off.
All around his eyes were burned the rest of him was totally white.
I felt like a TERRIBLE Mama!

Love!

These two are so fun!!

The coolest part--helping sail the boat!!

At our hotel.
The water was COLD but David paid Natalie ten dollars to jump in.
