On the last 'snow day' of the ice storm the roads had cleared up pretty well; it was David's day off so we decided to take advantage of much needed family time. ICE at Gaylord seemed like a perfect option!! It is one of our favorite Christmas traditions since we've moved to Dallas and this year's theme of the Nutcracker was perfect since that is our longest standing family Christmas tradition. 
I love this picture--three little sleepy heads on the way to ICE. You'd think it had been a hard week with all the sleeping in and laying around at home...

The really cool surprise is that they had a second theme that wasn't advertised...it was Christmas in NYC!!
So perfect since we had just gone to the BIG APPLE five weeks before and had wished we could've seen NYC at Christmas too!
