We really tried to make our gingerbread house work, but it just didn't happen this year.
Even after it was up, it cracked and fell apart.
We made our Christmas dinner the night after Christmas instead of on Christmas because after playing outside with our neighbors on all the new Christmas bikes and toys they invited us to go have Christmas dinner at IHOP. I have never eaten out before on Christmas, so it was a new experience for me, but it was fun.
Because our gingerbread house fell apart,
I let the kids use the candy to just decorate their gingerbread men.
Turned out pretty cute!
