My little Brian is obsessed with TRAINS!!! We discovered how much he loved them when he found the show Chuggington. From the first moment he saw it, he was in LOVE. Before that, he kind of liked Mickey Mouse and Elmo, but his attention span for a t.v. show was pretty limited. One day David put on Chuggington to keep his busy while we were doing a project and he was enthralled. He watched the entire thing and didn't move. And he squealed in excitement about the trains!! With other shows he still had limited attention, but he could watch Chuggington for as long as we would let him. "Choo Choo train" was one of his first words. He even gets super excited whenever we go to Six Flags-- for a long time we just thought it was cute and then he started saying "train go down" and we realized that all these months when he was so excited its because he thinks the roller coasters are trains!! And maybe that's why he likes trains so much...we did start taking him on Six Flags rides before he could walk. Either way--FUNNY to discover that's why he was so excited about the roller coasters!!
So for his birthday, finding a train ride was a MUST!!!
Train ride along the Trinity River.
With Auntie Becky!!
For lunch after the train ride we went to a Mediterranean restaurant. It was super yummy!! But obviously wasn't a choice geared toward the birthday boy. Luckily, they had ice cream or "ICE" as Brian lovingly calls it and that made his HAPPY!!! Oh, and my Natalie thinks she's a teenager when she's around her older cousins... She's too cute though!!
