The kids had a two half days from school this week- since David is off on Thursday we thought it would be a perfect chance to have a fun family day. After picking them up from school we decided to go to a fun sushi place for lunch- Natalie LOVES sushi. Stephen doesn't like sushi but he loves rice so it works out--it was cute because the lady there recognized Stephen and gave him a high five- she was really cute to him. I took him there for lunch the day he got his teeth pulled out a while back.
After lunch we decided to go to the Children's Museum and get new passes. We had passes there when the kids were younger but haven't had them in several years since the kids stay so busy with school. Brian has never been before and he is the PERFECT age now to LOVE it!!! We had SO much fun taking him and showing him around- he was excited about everything and he LOVED the IMAX movie too. We didn't even have enough time to do half the stuff there--I couldn't believe how much Natalie still loves the little shopping area. So cute- she LOVES to help organize all the food for the worker--I think she spent 45 minutes in there.
Brian LOVED this gator entrance!!!
Filling up on bread!!
Helping Brian!
Brian LOVED taking care of all these babies- he was so sweet and gentle with them.
But he didn't like when other kids came later and took them out of their beds.
Stephen had a blast showing Brian all about the trains...
Back for more shopping- it really is fun!!
I didn't get a picture, but Brian LOVED the dinosaur bones!!!
Such a fun day- love having more time with my kiddos!!
Oh, and our IMAX was about the ocean so Stephen loved that- especially the shark part--he knows the names of lots of obscure types of sharks!
