A few weeks before Wish Night the kids got to meet the channel 8 anchor that was going to be the MC for Wish Night. It was her first time to MC the event and she wanted to get a feel for Make A Wish and what its all about and what wishes mean to the kids.
Wish Night was as fun and crazy as every year!!
Here the kids are doing the dress rehearsal the afternoon of the show!!
A little time at the pool before everything gets started...
A little cold??
Enjoying some chik-fil-a backstage!
LOVE this!!!
This might be my favorite picture of the night! After eating we went to our room to get ready for the night. David shining Stephen's shoes...there is a picture of David about this same age where Grandpa Mike is shining David's cowboy boots. Love it!!!
Greeting all the guests as they enter the ballroom!!
Opening song with all the wish kids-- singing "I Believe"
The kids loved this song that they know from the Space Jam movie!!
Dancing to "Let's Go Fly A Kite!"
Final Dance!!
And on to the conga line--it was as fun as I remember!!!
These two!!!!
With Miss Gay!!
I love this piece of art with all the wish kids hand prints!!
Stephen proudly posing with his artwork--both of these pictures sold for quite a bit of money and there was a bidding war over one of them. He even danced with the winner of his piece on the dance floor...it is THE BEST VIDEO EVER!!!!
Finishing up the night at midnight...
LOVE the new blue sparkly cover I found for her kindle---and it was $3 in the target dollar bin!!!
GREAT DAY!!!!!
Wish Night Artwork!!!
All the artwork that ended up in the auction this year...they are always SO proud of helping raise money to support other kid's wishes. I love to take pictures to remember all the fun moments at the art parties and to remember what cute little artist they are in 15 years when they are all grown up.
Natalie did the butterfly...
Stephen did the snake on the side...
Their thumb prints are on the hot air balloon plate and they made some of the sticks on the canvas too!!
Going home....
