Curesearch Walk

Natalie was really bummed that her best friend who has done the Curesearch walk with her for the past several years moved out of the country and wasn't with her.  We were so grateful to have Natalie (and Stephen's) Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Sloan join us again!!!  She told Natalie she would walk with her every year and she has been doing it since Kinder.  So COOL!!!

We were also grateful to have some friends who haven't walked with us before come and support Natalie and pediatric cancer research.  It was a lot of fun for Natalie to have friends and made her feel so special.

We also loved walking again with our neighbor Ella--Ella finishes treatment in September and we are waiting here at the finish line cheering her on.  We feel like that is a special privilege...to be able to cheer on any families going through pediatric cancer.  It is so near to our hearts.  And I know Natalie is an ambassador of Hope...she is doing so well and we are so grateful.  Can't wait to be able to post pics of Ella's party!!!!

This hummingbird tattoo is pretty special...when Natalie got sick Hummingbirds were one of her favorite things.  It's even mentioned in her Songs of Love song.

MY GIRL!!!
This makes me smile!!
