"Stop the bus, Stop the bus!!" That is what Natalie said her first time on this bus ride as a three year old. This was Stephen's first ride. Not the most flattering pic of him, but he did like it.

No crowds are the best when you see characters because the kids can run right into their arms when they see them. Very sweet.


I love this picture-it was taken too late, but it shows Stephen running away from Bugs laughing. A moment before Bugs had Stephen wrapped in his arms and was tickling his chin. And a minute later Bugs took Natalie in his arms and dipped her as if they were dancing. What fun!!




The Colonel was SO excited about seeing Robin, even though I think he really wished he had seen Batman too. The next day he couldn't stop playing with his little Batman and Robin figures and talking about seeing Robin. He even told me that Robin is the "sidekick." I was surprised he knew that word. Oh, and the beginning of the evening, the Batman ride was at the top of his request list. He rode it three times!!

It was a perfect night. Stephen was as sweet as could be and I was ready for it after a week of him not sleeping well and being on the opposite end of the spectrum.

It was so EXCITING that he was finally tall enough to do all the rides he got left out on before--it created a new special bond and independence for our adorable sibling pair. They went together and took care of each other on some of the rides--watching him do exactly what Natalie has done since she was three on the tea cups melted our hearts. The two of them sat back with their arms up and enjoyed the ride. Watching them do that was one of those very cool moments for Mommy and Daddy. Seeing the lights AND all the scenery at dusk as we climbed high and dropped on the parachute with the beautiful night air on our cheeks was the best-and we all went. There is nothing better than watching your child do something fun and new for the 'first time.' There isn't much more to say about how silly and fun the ferris wheel was--the pictures say it all. And ending with the carousel and a pink thing--and Robin going by was a perfect way to end the night.

The night had a great start too- a good dinner at Natalie's favorite place and they really had fun making these...
