Visiting with Aunties and Natalie in the News

We're all Seinfeld buffs, our bird is even named Kramer. So, when Auntie Kathy decided to take a trip to NYC, then here, and on to OKC she called it the Summer of Kathy! We're glad she decided to come here and visit because we hadn't seen her since Thanksgiving. Even though it was past Labor Day, I think it still counts as summer since we enjoyed swimming with her--well Auntie took a nap by the pool, which is my dream in a few more years when I don't have to watch my kids so carefully. There is nothing like a nap with the warm sun enveloping you. Oh, and another bonus is that it got Anutie Laura down here, she couldn't give up that much room in the favorite Auntie competition.

This is David's old co-worker from Tucson. She lives in Kansas now but came to Dallas for a meeting. We met up and had a nice evening at one of Nat's favorite places to eat- Five Guys. Then enjoying the nice, and still warm night just before a big thunderstorm. And of capping the evening off with some carmel apples.

It was a good night, Natalie even made the news.

It is funny, but check out this VIDEO Skip ahead to 57 seconds and who do you see? It is kind of funny because there is an akward pause and it seems like the video footage should have ended--it was almost like they waited for Natalie and couldn't quite bear to cut her out:)

When we were walking near the fountains Stephen saw a grasshopper and could not stop following it-the problem was that it wasn't going to way all of us people wanted to walk. My solution was to catch the grasshopper for him. You can see how thrilled he was to try out his bug jar for the first time.




Rock band. I didn't get a picture of it, but Stephen was adorable playing the drums-and I mean ADORABLE!!
