David took this picture of Natalie's paper when he went on her field trip with her. I guess they have the kids try to figure out how to spell things on their own. This happens to be in Spanish, so it is doubly cute to see her try to write on her own in another language.
This is a sentance Natalie formed on her own, it was an assignment at the end of one of her books.Here is the little word map she made to go along with her sentance.
In the planner that Natalie works on every day, there was an assignment to draw something that is hard for her. I was surprised, but it makes sense, that she drew a picture of eating lunch at school.
