We would've been perfectly happy to spend the entire week at the beaches in Destin-- but we REALLY wanted to surprise Stephen with a trip to see Everglades Holiday Park where most of the Gator Boy episodes are filmed. It is in Ft. Lauderdale, which is a VERY LONG drive--much further than Destin. But we decided all that extra driving was worth it to surprise our Stephen!! We planned it so we would be able to spend his birthday there!! It was a great surprise!!! He was in HEAVEN!!!!
Part of our ticket price to Everglades Holiday Park included and air boat tour of the Everglades.
It was REALLY cool and SO beautiful!!! Brian didn't love the VERY LOUD noise and fast speeds of the air boat- but the rest of us loved it because it was SO HOT and HUMID!!

The other part of our ticket was a Gator Wrestling show. Most of the Gator Boys were out of town, but it was still a cool show. This guy has been with the Gator Boys for a long time but just isn't prominent on the show. The kids still loved it.

Stephen flipped out when he saw all the guys lockers- they have showed these on the show when they were fighting about who got which locker. He was thrilled to see them!
