STATE!!!

Natalie swam on Friday afternoon.  So we took of first thing in the morning and drove to College Station Texas...in the middle of no where!!!  It was blazing hot outside and super crowded, but it was fun to watch her swim.  Natalie is at the younger age of her age category so it is harder to be as dominant as she was last year, but she still did a great job!!  We were so proud of her!!

She got a 6th place in her medley relay where she swam the butterfly leg

 and she got a 7th place on her freestyle relay. 

 Stephen was scheduled to swim in the Saturday morning session and his race was the VERY last one of the entire session...but he still had to get there at the beginning for warm ups.  David took Stephen and we let Nat and Brian sleep in.  It was fun for the boys to get some time together and it turned out to be a MUCH cooler day.

It was hard to get a good angle to record the race, but Stephen did an AMAZING job!!!  He was the last leg of his freestyle relay and he came from behind and got a 2nd place!!!  I thought he was going to get third but he didn't breathe at the end and reached hard and pulled out a SILVER!!!  It was truly exciting to watch!!!!!

This year's shirt for State was the BEST ever...this was made to look like Coach Melbourne and if you knew his personality it would be even funnier.  The other coach made it up to tease him.

Oh, and our Trophy Club Triton team won first place at State...it is a very competitive team with an amazing coach!!!  They beat out 80 teams to take that honor!!!!
