After Stephen finished swimming at his meet we got in the car, grabbed some food to eat while we drive and started our official ROAD TRIP to Florida!!!! Our plan was to drive a day and then stop and have a beach day and continue like that until we got down to Ft. Lauderdale to surprise Stephen on his birthday with a visit to Everglades Holiday Park home of the Gator Boys. But...on the drive we decided to stop in Mississippi for a quick visit to Gulf Coast Gator Ranch. This place was featured on the Gator Boys show one season when they decided to go to Mississippi and help out another gator rescue program. David and I were SO SO excited to surprise Stephen--we are KIND OF into surprises---just a little haha!!!
We made it to a town close to Moss Point Mississippi Saturday night after his swim meet and headed to our hotel--I think Stephen started to get a little suspicious in the in car because he saw signs in the area that used the term "gulf coast" and he knew we were in Mississippi. We made up some kind of excuse that seemed to confuse him and the next morning we pulled in without him knowing where we were.
He flipped when he figured out where we were!!!!
Brian and Natalie both love to watch Gator Boys with Stephen,
so they loved it too!

The Gator Boys are no longer at Gulf Coast Gator Ranch, but for two weeks of the summer they had a special visitor--Jimmy's Brother Andy!! How lucky that it just happened to be during the time we were going through!!! Jimmy is Stephen's ALL TIME FAVORITE Gator Boy--I'm pretty sure he wants to be Jimmy when he grows up. So getting to meet his brother Andy (who has also been in quite a few episodes of the show) was a HUGE treat!!!!
He autographed Stephen's shirt!!!!!
And the coolest part is that we got to watch an actual Gator Boy
do the alligator wrestling show!!!
