Natalie did a wonderful job at her piano recital and then we rushed off to the Andrea Bochelli concert. It was the BEST evening- so fun that we could take Natalie!!
David's Mom also came- she flew in the night before so her could be there for the concert and my parents came as well. David has been talking it up to them all year and telling them it was a once in a lifetime experience. We went a few years ago and LOVED it. We are HUGE Bochelli fans at our house- one of his songs was so special to us during Natalie's cancer treatment. We all felt a little bad to leave Stephen and Brian out (I can't begin to tell you how obsessed Brian is with Bochelli- he constantly begs to hear "time" over and over in the car)--but it was so nice to relax and enjoy the music. Sometimes that's a little hard with a two year old even if they are good.
My parents and David's Mom LOVED every second!!!
---Oh and on a separate note--Stephen also had a Christmas piano recital that he did an amazing job in. David took video and pictures on his phone but dropped his phone in the sink on Christmas Eve while he was washing his hands and lost all his pictures. So sad to not have that video--but I can tell you that he did such a good job and he was the littlest student she had!! He was SO adorable!!!
