ICE 2014

The ICE exhibit at the Gaylord Hotel is one of our favorite Texas Christmas traditions.  We have gone every year since we moved here.  This year we got my parents to go with us and they loved it.
We also got smart and got some hand warmers to put into Brian's mittens so he wouldn't get too cold.  It was such a fun evening- David's days off make it so we do things when it isn't crowded and that makes things like this so pleasant.  And Brian LOVED the trains on display in the hotel!!!

It looks like Natalie is all feet in this picture!!
She is getting big fast!!

Brian LOVED the ice slide!!!

His parka was so big and fluffy he couldn't get up on his own!!

My Dad is such a good sport- he is really young at heart!!

They had a new twist this year, some of the ice sculptors there carving a display so people could see the process.  What they were carving was so perfect-- "Will you marry me?"  That's a pretty fun proposal idea!!!  I could tell Natalie loved it- I love having a girl!!!

Our favorite part at the end- it so peaceful to see the nativity carved in ice.

The kids had fun picking out ornaments for the tree.
Stephen LOVES to shop at gift shops- he just loves coming away with something--grocery shopping not so much but he just loves gift shops!!

LOVE this one!!!
